This is not an easy post to pen.
I'm still in shock, praying that this is just a bad joke.
I thought I'd shaken off the jinx.
For 4 consecutive years, I seem to be jinxed - someone leaves me every year.
You were still on FB on Thursday 16/11. I just can't accept it.
I got to know you through your blog, when I was searching for contests to join. I immediately loved reading your posts, because of your honest and down-to-earth reviews and comments. Later, we became friends, though we hardly get to meet because of our busy schedules. We connected through your blog, PM and FB. You're always kind and generous, always the giver, and always have a kind word for everyone. Despite going through a recurring rough patch, you remained true, passionate,
honest, strong, fought back, and created awareness with your #iWillBeOkay campaign, and gave life everything you've got. You are my hero, my dear girl. I always have faith that you'll triumph over the big D, and continue blooming to the fullest.
You're one of the most beautiful, strong and resolute lady I know, inside out. I can't just describe how heart-broken I am right now, when another blogger friend broke the news to me.
I'll miss reading your daily blog, your musings, your thoughts, your lovely photos, your updates, and hearing your voice and seeing you in your videos.Most of all, I'll miss you, my dearest Fiona

😭😭😭💔💔The hardest goodbye is when it means farewell forever 😭😭😭21/11/17 - It rained heavily this afternoon, heaviest rain we had in a long while. The heavens must have been mourning for you too, my dear friend, just as I, your family, your friends, your readers and your fans are mourning right now. So many 'what-ifs', so many questions, and so many 'if only'.

Call me naive and silly, but I was half expecting it was a joke, and I truly wanted it to be a joke --- that you 'staged' this symbolically to 'leave' behind the old Fiona and emerge as the new Fiona, and surprise us all...
but when I saw the road signs with candle at the junctions... I lost all hope

Why Yamaha JMC?

Just my humble opinion.

Many a time, friends would ask me, "Why Yamaha Junior Music Course #JMC? "

OK, let's not go into the "musicality" , "aural ability", "timely education" parts, since I believe I have shared about that before, or if u like, u can "PM tepi" LOL...

Well, I'm not THE expert, but I can safely say, JMC has been around way longer than my time. It has a structured syllabus, one that has evolved and revamped through the years to cater for the changing & evolving generations.

So, would you rather sign up for some newly-mushroomed fancy courses, or invest in a course that has withstood the test of time and generations?

Teachers are professionally, intensively trained and evaluated, with regular group study sessions and seminars.

Or would you rather let just anyone teach your child?

Even in other subjects, or mainstream education, you would prefer the former, right?

Then why settle for less in music, if you're looking for quality music education?

Teachers and centres are supported by Yamaha Music Malaysia (and Japan) that has been around for decades!

Do the other courses outside have such a strong support and long, extensive history?

On another note, I'm Not saying others are no good, but why settle for mediocre, when there's a better choice?
