What
is Christmas, without trips to the malls around town to capture the
captivating decos throughout the month and all the last minute
shopping and insane wrapping of gifts for loved ones? Truly an X'mas to
remember, for I managed to spend time with friends and loved ones - the
people who matter to me most. It was definitely a very memorable
Christmas, especially for my dear 'di-di' from Germany, who spent a
tropical Yuletide season with us! It was his second trip to Malaysia,
and his first ever "sunny" 30+ degrees Christmas. Since then, he makes
annual pilgrimage to Malaysia, to visit my little family, for the local
delights and enjoy the Malaysian hospitality.
A few days
before Christmas, I collected my new ride with Christoph and my family.
It was
certainly more comfortable than my old and trusted golden Mouse-deer. We
had an awesome time going around town and even made a day trip to
Seremban. Since this was his 2nd trip to town, we skipped the
"compulsory tourists spots" which he had visited the previous year. This
year, it was more like a "makan" trip, where we indulged in local
delicacies - foods he had missed so much back home, and he had his
favourite fruit - DURIAN! Not once, but twice! He said that Malaysian
durians are the best, "Smells like sh*t, tastes like icecream".
On
Christmas day, he joined my family and I at St Mary's Cathedral for the
Christmas mass and we went for dimsum after that. Upon returning home,
it was presents time! Beloved Johnny Boy was not left out, for he's more
than a pet, he's family!
This year, it will be a totally
different Christmas for us. Beloved Johnny Boy has been called to the
Lord and gone to the Rainbow Bridge
and he is sorely missed everyday. It is during this season of
giving and loving that he is missed even more. However, a precious,
robust and roaring Little Dragon will celebrate his first ever Christmas
with us :-D

Random Thoughts ~ 感触 ~~ 我的感觉
As wrinkles, sagging skin and graying hair become more prominent, as
mid-life crisis inch nearer, as waist lines + hip measurement begin to
increase, as we get older, as our age slowly catches up...
We find our loved ones leaving us one by one...
My deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to family and friends who have recently lost their loved ones (PETS included)...
(including myself and my family on d passing of our beloved Johnny doggie Boy...)
Take your time to grieve, don't stifle your feelings and don't allow anyone to dictate what you should or shouldn't do...
Take care... ((HUGS))
Cherish every moment spent with them, keep those memories in the deepest crannies of ur heart, open it up and savour them, look back and realize that you're loved and you've loved them...
When our time on earth expires, we'll meet again...and be together once more...
As we grow older, as our hair becomes greyer,
our waistlines grow wider,
and wrinkles become deeper…
Ppl (and pets) we love will leave us...
